Golf is an intrinsically simple sport. I never understood why we carry so much just to whack a ball every 100 or so yards.Playing with less creates a greater sense of freedom. The body not weighed down by 14 clubs, 11 balls, 30 tees, a couple of cold ones, a rangefinder and a jacket. The mind not weighed by the decisions that come with these belongings.These third-set bags are designed to carry up to seven beautifully curated clubs, with pockets designed to carry even less. Just enough to compete. Not enough to overthink.Pick a club. Swing. If it's good, go whack it again. If it's bad, go whack it again.
The Bags
Each bag is made out of 16oz cotton canvas. It's incredibly durable, weather resistant and natural. Every seem, pocket and fold is stitched using heavy duty polyester thread creating a bag that can stand any test on the course. Metal strap loops, YKK zippers and a 2-inch cotton webbing spine and strap add an extra layer of toughness.

After travelling with nothing but a backpack for a better part of a year, I realized just how little we actually need to get through everyday life.So I wondered: why do we carry so much just to play a simple round of golf?I returned home and started prototyping a third-set golf bag. Experimenting with what works, what looks good and what could be improved. Different materials, measurements, sewing methods and ideas have all helped create the Keeen bag I make today.The option to add custom numbers, letters and designs is my attempt to make each bag a little more personal and to give golfers a chance to express something about themselves rather than simply carry another piece of golf equipment.After all, golf is an individual game. Your bag should be too.
